Joss Whedon created a script in 1992 with the heading of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, starring Kristy Swanson as Buffy, and Luke Perry as Pike. The movie was not that successful, and it flopped badly. (I like it though.) Then, five years later, in the year of 1997, a brand new TV series was aired. The name of the show is very familiar. The show, created by Joss Whedon, is called “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and it has brought it millions of fans & viewers world wide! It has successfully reached a goal of 7 complete seasons. Ever since the finale of the 7th season, people have been wondering ”Where does Buffy go from here?” and “What comes next?” An answer was spoken in the year of 2007, when BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, SEASON 8 ISSUE #1: The Long Way Home Part One of Four hit comic book shelves. Season 8 has been going on for the past three years, and it now at a high of 50 comics. The 8th season was suppossed to be a 20 comic run, but Joss’ producer said they were at 50, so they stated that the 8th season will have 40 issues, and it will run onto a 9th season! The comics have done very well, not only with bringing comic fans into the show, but bringing the fans of the show into comics. You can buy them seperately, or you can by the volumes which have 5 issues in every volume. Volumes 1-7 are now on shelves!
Season Eight, Issue One: The Long Way Home was turned into a motion comic featuring your favorite characters in a new adventure.
